John Charles Omagap

Computer science field notes on building, automating, checking, and learning to secure software.

I currently lean on AI tools to accelerate research, coding, troubleshooting, and automation. I set the scope, review the output, and verify the result while building broad cybersecurity foundations.

Field note 01 / Too Many ChatsArchived

Too Many Chats for SillyTavern

Built independently to organize large chat histories. The public interface capture uses visibly synthetic data.

Field note 01 / Independent extension

Organized large chat histories into persistent folders.

Too Many Chats for SillyTavern

Problem

My SillyTavern history became difficult to navigate as the number of chats grew.

Contribution

I independently built an extension that groups chats into folders and remembers their state.

Evidence

The interface was shared with other users who had the same problem. The public capture uses synthetic chat content.

Result and status

The extension remains available for reference, but the repository is now archived.

Field note 02 / STICA ClinicMaintenance-only

Led development of a clinic-record prototype.

FN-02 / STICA Clinic Maintenance-only
Actual application captures / synthetic demo data / no real medical records

STICA Clinic System

Led a five-person student team and implemented the prototype. Every public capture contains synthetic demo data.

Field note 02 / Academic capstone

Led development of a clinic-record prototype.

STICA Clinic System

Problem

The team needed an academic prototype for managing clinic records and medicine inventory.

Contribution

As team lead and lead programmer, I coordinated a five-person team and implemented the web application.

Technology

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL supported the interface and data workflows.

Status

The project is retained as an academic reference and is no longer actively maintained.

Field note 03 / Personal workflow / February-June 2026

Routed academic updates through a private, reviewable workflow.

scheduler records
scheduled tasks configured
separate workspaces
failed execution records

I configured a private workflow using OpenClaw, Python, JavaScript, and Discord. Public documentation excludes classroom, account, and participant data and reports the recovered execution records without claiming unmeasured time savings.

Technologies are shown where the work supports them.

01 / Project-proven web
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript
  • PHP
  • SQL database

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL appear in the documented project work.

02 / Automation and data
  • Python
  • JavaScript
  • Discord

Python, JavaScript, Discord workflows, and record-oriented review are evidenced in the automation case study.

03 / AI-assisted workflow
  • OpenAI mark representing Codex
  • OpenCode
  • Google Antigravity
  • OpenClaw
  • Hermes.ai

Codex and OpenCode are active. Google Antigravity was used earlier, Hermes.ai is occasional and personal, and OpenClaw is project-specific and still being explored.

04 / Security learning
  • TryHackMe

TryHackMe activity supports ongoing study in networking, operating systems, secure development, and threat modeling. Open TryHackMe profile ↗

AI assisted

Research organization, code suggestions, drafting, and troubleshooting within boundaries I define.

Verified by

Behavior checks, source comparisons, synthetic demo data, discrepancy review, backups, and approval gates.

Learning now

Networking, operating systems, secure development, threat modeling, and other broad cybersecurity foundations.

04Read-only review

Additional evidence / Data quality

Verified a safety process across 10,000+ task records.

I defined duplicate rules, required a read-only report, checked claimed results against the source, and kept every destructive action behind backup and approval.

About / working method

I use AI assistance, but I remain responsible for the decisions and the evidence.

I am a third-year BS Computer Science student at Pamantasang Lungsod ng Muntinlupa. I currently lean on AI tools for research organization, code suggestions, drafting, and troubleshooting. I decide the requirements, scope, acceptance criteria, and privacy boundaries, then inspect behavior and correct the published claims.

I am looking for a first part-time remote role or internship where I can learn the team’s process and become dependable over time. My long-term direction is cybersecurity, and I am building broad foundations without presenting them as professional security experience.

I also serve as Business Manager in our Computer Science course student council for AY 2026-2027.
